Moments that forever will last, carried in the heart, surrounded by dear Souls calling in the age of love.

Today is not the day I was made,
but the day I remember
that I am made of.

I am not older -
I am deeper.
Another ring in the trunk of my becoming,
another season folded into my soil.

On this be-earth-day
I do not blow out candles.
I breathe.
I place my palms on the ground of my life
and listen for what still wants to grow.

I thank the dust that learned my name,
the rain that taught me patience,
the fire that did not destroy me
but clarified my shape.

I forgive the winters.
They were working.
I honor the summers.
They were generous.

Today, I belong again
to worms and stars,
to cracked sidewalks and wild seeds,
to the slow wisdom of moss.

May I walk lightly,
speak honestly,
and root where love can reach me.
